Gary Terranova was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He enlisted in the U.S. Army shortly after graduating High School serving 4 1/2 years active duty. He was stationed in Fort Wainwright, Alaska with the 172nd Stryker Brigade Support Battalion as a "Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic". He soon deployed to Mosul, Iraq with the "Arctic Wolves" of the 172nd for a 12 month tour and was extended for another 5 months to Baghdad. Through hard work and dedication he found himself promoted to position of Sergeant (E-5) shortly after his 3rd year in service. He continued to excel as a Team Leader, Fitness Trainer to the over weight soldiers, Weapons Specialist, and a certified Close Combat instructor for the Battalion. Due to an injury, Gary was forced to extend his military obligation an additional 6 months but later returned to his home of record in New York to finish his education with a degree in Science and Information Technology. In December 2011, Gary packed up his life in Rochester and drove towards Los Angeles to follow his dream of working in the entertainment industry as an Actor. With no representation he booked his first national commercial in late 2012 for "I can;'t believe it's not butter" with a speaking role! Shortly to follow, he was caste as a Spartan/ Greek Soldier in the new "300: Rise of an Empire" movie to be released into theaters March 2014!
