Damian C. King is a director and producer working in the Los Angeles area. Damian graduated with a BFA in performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 before heading to pursue film in Los Angeles. He has been working successfully in film for the past decade accumulating over 30 combined producing and directing credits. He has an intimate knowledge of all stages of filmmaking due to many previous years as an accomplished first assistant director and stunt coordinator. Damian has been mentored by top-working directors in the industry who have been preparing and training him for his well-anticipated career as a director. Most recently, Damian has produced and directed the award-winning web series Project Child: Origins, produced the award-winning short film Shepherds of Angel Fire, directed the YouTube Sensation Live Action Cartoon Hookups, and also produced and directed 27 episodes of Chocolate Milk Series. On the feature front, he wrote and produced the comedy WTF: World Thumbwrestling Federation and shortly after, joined an ambitious team producing a charity-focused movie for kids by kids called Kids Can! Damian is so passionate about filmmaking that he has begun working with and inspiring the filmmakers of the future at the American Film Institute in his free time, as well as teaching fight choreography at children's camps.
