A Memphis native born and raised in Shelby County TN. grew up in heart of Midtown in a low income housing community Lamar Terrace, a new site which is now called the University Place. A great influence in my life growing up is my Beloved mother Mary V. Lewis who passed away on September 6, 2012. My mother death was painful for our entire family. After a long and emotionally wrenching struggle with stage 4 lung cancer and the setting of many of her health conditions played a significant part of my success in health care. December 12, 2012 I up and relocated to Los Angeles, CA. Known by most as the City of Angels, this is where I was force to live and survive from hitting rock bottom, this is where I live life to the fullest without any regrets. It's where I learned the most, I can say now. I have experience and something to offer. December 27th 2012 is when I started my acting career with the help of my best friend actor "Stephane Solar from the Movie Midnight Warrior and Speak of the Devil. Stephane, transformed me from a health care professional to one of Hollywood's newest upcoming actors and I never looked back. For those of you who know me.. you know that my passion is to always give back and to build platforms for others to shine. My work has always and will always provide opportunity for the underprivileged, unsung talent in my community and beyond, making dreams come true. Now I want to use my past acting experience to inspire new upcoming actors and provide them with resources on how to jump start their acting careers by working closely with me and some of the people I have close ties too. Such as casting directors,, movie directors, executive producers, film makers and set production crew members . "Surviving Tough Times" is a gripping story about (Me) a Memphis Healthcare Professional going through the hardships of life through abuse, addiction, heartache, death, & homelessness with a quest for redemption. It has shown me things I never wanted to see, I have experienced sadness and failures. But I also wanted to shed light on the great city Memphis TN simply because I am proud of where I "come from" and send a positive message to raise awareness for a variety of causes namely; Healthcare, Domestic Violence and Homelessness causes. In short the film is about me and my struggles. It shed light on how I learned to survive and craft a new way to live under The most unusual set of circumstances. It's about the youth of today's gang drugs, violence, and what could happen to teens if they take the wrong path and where it could lead them. Robert Jamison, has worked with celebrity & award-winning directors, writers, actors, producers, singers, songwriters, and musicians. Including some of your favorite Comics from BET/Comic View such as Michael Colyar, Actress and Comedienne MsArkansas, Comedian Annie Mcfunny McNight, CeCe Strong, Nate Duhon, Memphis Will, and Star Actress Kaliahl Harris from Tyler Perry's Meet The Brown. Robert is also working with Tyler Perry's former Stage Manager legendary Mr. Anthony Kinniebrew from the Why Did I Get Married Theatrical Productions He has hosted numerous concerts and fundraisers for charity organizations such as The American Cancer Society, Heroes of Life, TTT Veterans Wellness Center, The San Miguel Foundation Diabetes Treatment and Prevention Program and worked closely with several legendary singing artist such as Andre Ray Former Lead Singer of LTD, The Positive Source Band featuring Ricky Abernathy of Lakeside,, Defrantz Forrest Lead Singer of The Motown Originals, The Delfonics and Grammy Nominated Mike Majik Boyd, just to name a few. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Robert L.
