Mark Lesser first got the film bug when his father introduced him to "Lawrence of Arabia", "The Great Escape", "The Man Who Would Be King", and "Rear Window". Soon after, he went to LA for the first time, bought Syd field's book on screenwriting, snuck onto the Fox lot, and pitched story ideas to "Mash". Proudly, he still has the rejection letter. In Chicago, he worked as an apprentice editor on commercials for a Cleo-winning film editor and learned to cut film on a Moviola and Kem. "If you have only cut digital, you've missed out on something special". At 20, Mark moved to LA, working as a special effects artist on "Spaceballs" and others. This soon followed with a production role at Hanna Barbara, HBO, Hallmark, and CBS. The credits continued as he worked in film and television for 15 years. Since, Mark left the film production to raise his daughter as single parent, fought cancer, became an established artist & painter, got a doctorate in clinical psychology. Later, he came out the other side ready to write. "Finally, I have something to write about, new stories to tell." - IMDb Mini Biography By: Mark Lesser
