Neil Sandilands was born in Randfontein, South Africa, on the 1st of May 1975. He is arguably one of the country's most versatile actors. At present (2017/2018) he is starring as Clifford Devoe/The Thinker on CW's hit show "The Flash" as "Big Bad" for Season 4 of this franchise. Formerly he starred as the contentious character "Titus" in CW's show "The 100" Season 3 (2016). At the same time he was also series regular on AMC/Sundance TV's hugely popular flagship production "Hap and Leonard" (2016) as Paco ft. James Purefoy, Michael Williams, Christina Hendricks, Bill Sage. Other credits include guest star and recurring guest on House MD, The Americans, NCIS LA. He also received the nod from ABC to be the mastermind in the 2017 pilot entitled "Salamander" - loosely based on the European version by the same name. 2018 will see him starring opposite Eric Roberts in the Indie biopic about Frank Sinatra entitled "Frank and Ava", as famed Hollywood director Fred Zinneman. A master of character performance, 2018 will also feature his portrayal as "The Violator" in the wildly absurd Indie film "The Drone" - a homage to the film "Child's Play". Sandilands has been living in Los Angeles since 2011. He has won several awards for his work in television, theatre and film. He is also a recipient of the South African Academy of Arts and Sciences award. In 2014 he received a Clio as director. He is represented by Abrams Artists Agency (USA) and has a longstanding friendship with his agent Jay Schachter (Abrams NY). Robert Brustein writes "...in the way he instantly segues from calm to rage, reminds one of all those inarticulate movie heroes of the fifties, Ben Gazzara, James Dean, Marlon Brando in The Wild One..." Henry Mylne (Director) writes: "Vivid, flamboyant (and) thoroughly professional, he doubtlessly brings an electric excitement to both stage and screen that few actors can match."
